As the Momentum One-Day Cup 2019 move to its final stages, the tension between the six teams will rise to another level. In the Match 28, Cape Cobras will come face-to-face with Warriors at the St. George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on March 23. This will be the last league game of both sides. Earlier in this year’s competition, the two sides had faced each other in Paarl with Warriors winning that game by three wickets in a tense run chase.
Warriors have won four out of their nine games in this season and have suffered four losses. One of their games ended without any result which gives them 18 points. They are currently placed at the fourth position on the points table. Warriors, in fact, lost their previous game poorly to Dolphins by nine wickets. Having scored just 223 in their 50 overs, Warriors failed to defend the total and lost the match with 14 overs to spare.
Cape Cobras, on the other hand, have won five out of their nine games and accumulated 20 points. They have also lost four games and are sitting on the third position on the points table. Cobras are coming into this game after a win by seven wickets against Knights. Knights batted first and scored just 186 runs which were chased down by Cobras in under 45 overs to take two crucial points.

V Philander and R Kleinveldt of Cobras’ side have recently well for their side, especially with the ball. JJ Smuts of Warriors has a great overall record with both bat and ball.
A. Birch and S Magala of Warriors can be match-winners of any given day and they could yield good results for you as well. Dane Piedt has been consistently performing with the ball for the Cobras.
