Sunrisers Hyderabad will host Kolkata Knight Riders on April 21 in the 38th match of the IPL 2019. The match will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad and will start at 4:00 PM IST. Chennai Super Kings will face take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru later that evening at 8:00 PM IST.
Coming back to the clash between SRH and KKR, the two teams have earlier played one match in this season. Kolkata had prevailed in a high-scoring match at the Eden Gardens in that instance. The fact that Kolkata has lost all their previous four matches doesn’t help their cause.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be confident after defeating Chennai Super Kings in their previous match in Hyderabad. They have played eight matches and won four out of them. They are currently placed at the fifth position on the points table while Kolkata is holding onto the sixth place at this moment. KKR have won only four out of their nine matches so far in this tournament. They lost their last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at home by just 10 runs.

SRH vs KKR Team News
Their win against Chennai Super Kings was an exhibition of how strong a team Hyderabad can be on a given day. They are unlikely to make any changes to their side.
Predicted 11: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow (WK), Kane Williamson (C), Vijay Shankar, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, K Khaleel Ahmed
Kolkata Knight Riders:
Kolkata will be sweating over Robin Uthappa’s form in the recent matches. Pushing him down in the order hasn’t really worked. Prasidh Krishna and Harry Gurney also have had very minimal effect on the opposition’s bowling. Sandeep Warrier and Matt Kelly could have a look in for this match.
Predicted 11: Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa, Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik (C&WK), Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Harry Gurney/Matt Kelly, Prasidh Krishna/Sandeep Warrier
SRH vs KKR Pitch Report
The Hyderabad pitch has been slow in the last few matches and spinners have got plenty of help from the surface. The spinners of both the sides may have a good day while the batsmen will have to work hard to get the runs.
Johnny Bairstow is averaging 52 this season and has scored 365 runs so far. He is a perfect choice for the wicket-keeper keeping in mind his records in Hyderabad this year.
David Warner is hanging on to the orange cap for the last few weeks. He has been in great form with the ball having scored 450 runs this season so far. He is a good choice for vice-captain.
Both Nitish Rana and Chris Lynn have done well with the bat for KKR. Rana scored his career best of 85 in the previous match.
Andre Russell has picked up seven wickets this year and scored 377 runs at a strike rate of 220. He is clearly your man for the captain’s role. Sunil Narine has also done well for Kolkata this year. Vijay Shankar is Sunrisers’ key all-rounder.
Kuldeep Yadav is among KKR’s best bowlers even though his season hasn’t been great so far. Rashid Khan, Bhuvaneswar Kumar and Khaleel Ahmed are the key bowlers from the SRH dugout.
