As all teams gear up to finish their quota of 14 matches, Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 2. Mumbai and Hyderabad both find themselves in the middle of the points table. Mumbai needs one win only to secure themselves a playoff spot. They have won seven out of their 12 matches. Hyderabad has won six of out of their 12 matches and needs two wins to confirm their place in the playoffs.
Mumbai is coming into this match after a 34 run loss against Kolkata Knight Riders, a team which they are due to play again on this weekend. Hyderabad’s last encounter was against Kings XI Punjab at home, which they won by 45 runs.
