MI vs RCB IPL Match 31 Dotball Predictions, Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore will travel to the den of the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium and battle it out on April 15, 2019. The 31st match of this IPL will start in Mumbai at 8:00 PM IST. This is the second clash between these giants, MI and RCB. The previous game this season was won by six runs in Bangalore. Mumbai batted first and scored 187 runs but AB de Villiers’ unbeaten knock of 70 went in vain as Bangalore failed to get to the total. Bangalore would be playing for their last hope of qualification while also eyeing revenge against Mumbai.

Mumbai has played seven matches and won four out of them. They lost their last fixture to Rajasthan Royals by four wickets in Mumbai. They are currently at the fourth position on the points table with eight points. RCB, on the other hand, has won only one match so far in this IPL, and that too only their previous match against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali. They are lying on the bottom of the points table with only two points in seven matches.

This match will also be interesting as the Indian captain Virat Kohli will take on the side being led by his national team deputy Rohit Sharma. It will be great to watch two of these world-class batsmen on a batting-friendly wicket at the Wankhede.

MI vs RCB Team News

Mumbai Indians: There isn’t a lot that Mumbai Indians would like to change about their combination even after the loss in the previous match. Alzarri Joseph injured himself while fielding in the previous match and is unlikely to play anymore this season. Lasith Malinga will most probably come into the side in his place. The fact that Joseph went for 53 runs in three overs in the previous match also doesn’t do anything good for him. Quinton de Kock had suffered dehydration after batting in the previous match, but he is likely to be fit for the next match.

Probable 11: Rohit Sharma (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Rahul Chahar, Jason Behrendoff, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli will be really happy that his men finally delivered a win finally. Keeping that in mind, Bangalore is unlikely to make any changes into the side for this crucial game. Dale Steyn has joined the RCB camp as a replacement of Nathan Coulter Nile but he is not available for the clash in Mumbai.

Probable 11: Parthiv Patel (wk), Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers, Moeen Ali, Marcus Stoinis, Akshdeep Nath, Pawan Negi, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Siraj

Wicket-keeper

Quinton de Kock is coming fresh from a beautifully compiled against Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai. Clearly, he is the best choice in this category.

Batsmen

Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers scored half-centuries in the previous match which RCB played. These two legendary batsmen should be in your side as captain and vice-captain respectively. Kieron Pollard scored an 83 off just 31 balls just last week at the Wankhede, so he could be a good choice as well.

All-rounders

RCB’s Marcus Stoinis delivered with the bat with scoring a quick-fire 28 while Moeen Ali did a good job with the ball. He ended with figures of 1-19 in four overs. Hardik Pandya of MI has been striking the ball really well in this IPL while his brother Krunal picked up three wickets in the previous match.

There four all-rounders can be crucial in this clash in Mumbai.
