The 16th edition of the Pakistan T20 National Cup is under full swing and we have already completed 3 matches in the tournament. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa managed to win their opening encounter against Balochistan quite comprehensively. They are all set to meet Southern Punjab in the 6th match of the competition tomorrow. Meanwhile, Southern Punjab lost their opening match and will look to get their campaign back on track.
The tournament has been organized during a break time in Pakistan’s domestic calendar. In recent times, the selection process has been questioned and Misbah-ul Haq has now laid a new roadmap in an attempt to recover Pakistan cricket.
Venue- Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad
Date- 15th October 2019
KHP managed to win their opening clash against Balochistan and it was largely possible due to an exceptional bowling performance from Mohammad Ahsin. He bagged 4 wickets for just 17 runs and played an instrumental role in restricting their opponents to 140.
In the batting department, it was Fakhar Zaman who provided a great start and in the end, it was Adil Amin who struck a quickfire 47 of 21 deliveries which helped KHP chase the target down with 2.5 overs to spare. There is no injury worries and KHP is expected to field their winning combination.

KHP vs SOP Dream 11 Team Combination
Wicket-keeper: Mohammad Rizwan, Umar Siddiq
Batsmen: Fakhar Zaman, Shan Masood, Sohaib Maqsood, Khushdil Shah
All-rounders: Adil Amin, Mohammad Mohsin
Bowlers: Mohammad Irfan, Wahab Riaz, Junaid Khan
Fakhar Zaman and Junaid Khan will be my captain options. Fakhar Zaman has been a prolific run-scorer for Pakistan at the top of the order and remains the only Pakistan batsmen to score an ODI double hundred. Junaid Khan, on the other hand, has also done a good job for Pakistan and might be a good pick if he is in form. Both could be good options for the captain’s slot.
