The likes of Colin Ackermann and Ryan ten Doeschate have also done a great job as far as batting is concerned. The bowling department has looked ominous as well and has been led by Paul van Meekeren who has bagged 14 wickets so far.

Both Ireland and the Netherlands have managed to qualify for the 2020 T20 World Cup. While the Dutch finished the group stage at the 2nd position, Ireland grabbed the top spot. The Netherlands managed to win 5 out of the 6 matches but missed out on the top spot owing to a better net run rate from Papua New Guinea. On the other hand, Ireland won 4 out of the 4 group games but still managed to top the group.

Paul Stirling- He has been one of the most consistent batsmen for Ireland. He started off the tournament with a 62 and a 72 respectively against Hong Kong and UAE respectively. Stirling hasn’t managed to score big in the last few games but there is no doubt about the fact that he is one of the most sensible captain options.
