The biggest cricket carnival is here again and boy, aren’t we all excited for it. The Indian Premier League 2019 is all set to begin on March 23 when Chennai Super Kings takes on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The match is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM IST.
The two teams, CSK led by MS Dhoni and RCB, led by Virat Kohli have had some fierce battles in the past. Out the 23 matches played between these two sides, CSK has won 15 matches and RCB has won seven while one match ended without any result.
CSK is the defending champions of the IPL having won the previous season in 2018. They beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final last year to become champions of the third time after 2010 and 2011. RCB, on the other hand, had finished sixth in last year’s IPL. The Bangalore team is yet to win an IPL having finished as the runners-up thrice (2009, 2011 and 2016).
As the 60-game tournament starts, all the fans across the globe would be excited to witness another exciting and adventurous season of the Indian Premier League.
